About Us
Since 2016, Kita Balu has been supporting children in their individual development. We place particular emphasis on language development and targeted preparation for kindergarten. In our movement-friendly rooms, every child can develop and let off steam. With freshly prepared meals from our own kitchen every day, we place great value on healthy nutrition. All children are warmly welcome – to play, learn, and feel at home.
Our approach
Educational approach
At Kita Balu, the child is at the heart of everything we do. Each child receives individual support and is encouraged to develop their independence, creativity, language skills and social skills. A caring, everyday environment fosters learning and discovery through play. Participation is particularly important to us – the children are encouraged to have a say and help shape what happens. Our activities range from free play and creative projects to targeted learning activities tailored to the children’s ages and interests.

Child protection &
violence prevention
We provide a safe environment for children to thrive and maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards violence. Through clear rules of conduct and transparent procedures, we ensure respect and safety. All key adults are actively involved in prevention efforts, and staff receive regular training. In this way, we work every day to ensure that children feel safe and well looked after in our care.
Emergency Response Plan
The safety of the children is our top priority – even in exceptional circumstances. Kita Balu has an emergency plan in place with clear procedures for medical emergencies, technical faults or evacuations. All staff members are trained in this plan and know exactly what to do in an emergency. This ensures that we can respond quickly, calmly and professionally even in unexpected situations – always with the children’s safety in mind and through transparent communication with parents.

Purzelbaum Kita
A Purzelbaum-Kita encourages children to be active and eat healthily through play. Plenty of physical activity is particularly important for children aged 0–6, as it supports their physical health as well as their cognitive, social and emotional development and ability to learn. Thanks to the careful design of our indoor and outdoor spaces, the Kita Balu is a safe playground for everyone.
